HI, I'M MAYCIE RAE!

My journey to Boarding At Seven started at 16-years-old. I saved up by babysitting and mowing my parent's lawn, bought my first camera, and instantly fell in love with capturing life in all its messy, beautiful, realness. Through that lens, I discovered that storytelling and art are two sides of the same coin. Turns out, that was just the start of something much bigger than I ever imagined!

Fast forward to my first year in college, I found myself as a sales rep at a local boutique in Baton Rouge. But within a week, I was pitching social media ideas because I realized something crucial: people don’t just buy products—they buy connection. It was my first real taste of the magic that happens when creativity meets strategy, and I was hooked.

I’ve never bought into the whole "social media is the devil" idea—instead, I saw it as a powerful tool for building community and expressing identity.

Boarding At Seven allows me to blend my love for creativity, strategy, and adventure. It’s my platform to not only chase my own dreams but to help other passionate brand owners do the same. Life is art, and I’m here to help brands express that authentically and unapologetically!
